From learning to leading: Lebanon’s youth are stepping up for democracy! The National Wellness Network (NWN) at MUBS is proud to announce the launch of the Democracy Academy for Lebanese Youth (DALY), a new initiative funded by the European Endowment for Democracy (EED) with the support of the European Commission.

The DALY initiative seeks to empower young people across the Rashaya and Hasbaya regions with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to actively participate in democratic life and assume leadership roles at both the local and national levels, particularly in the lead-up to the parliamentary elections planned for 2026.

Kicking off in December 2025, DALY will address the gaps in youth and women’s political participation by delivering voter education and awareness sessions, establishing inclusive civic spaces for open dialogue and debate, and supporting youth-led policy research and advocacy to influence political decision-making.
